The Big Green Gathering Charitable Eco Album has been produced by Goodisplanetearth and was Donated by the fantastic artists performing at the last BGG festival because they care about you, us, and the environment
We hope you will agree with us that this album has heart and soul with One Goal.

By purchasing these downloads you will not only be listening to a number of talented and dedicated musicians, but you will be donating directly to the environmental projects of www.goodisplanetearth.org, and thus working together for a greener way of life.

The music on the album represents a broad cross-section: jazz, reggae, beat-box, folk, rock, and more. And again, we feel its coherence comes from the unified donation of the artists and all concerned towards a charitable planet. We only regret that we could not include more artists on the album, but hopefully as our roots grow we will be able to attend again and bring you more music powered by the sun. The album will only be available as a download because after careful consideration we felt that the petrochemical content and carbon footprint involved in the production of CD's would not allow us to do so. We realize that potentially this could limit the audience we reach, but we did not feel we could produce a CD until an eco-friendly version is available. All proceeds from the sale of the album will be re-invested in our organization and dedicated to spreading environmental education, awareness and action through similar and more varied projects.

The Album was mixed by R Zenon and mastered by Dare Mason who has worked with Paul McCartney, Prince Elton John, Ravi Shankar  The Blow Monkeys Boy George, Tina Turner, The Church, Soul II Soul, amongst many others.

The proceeds from all donations will be re-invested into helping keep the Big Green Gathering sustainable, providing a platform for many artists and performers for many years to come, and towards the several charitable projects being undertaken by Goodisplanetearth, for example, A Bee Research Centre here in Cornwall.

Goodisplanetearth and The  Big Green Gathering will also be supporting http://www.shelterbox.org/ through Donations from the album.
